Matthew Costain
Osteopath (M.Ost)
Mathew is a passionate and dedicated Osteopath who takes great care in understanding and addressing each patient’s individual needs.
Known for his excellent hands-on treatment and practical, results-driven advice, Matthew combines treatment techniques such as joint articulation, soft tissue massage, and manipulation to create specific treatment plans that align with each patient’s goals and lifestyle. His thoughtful and patient-centred approach ensures every person receives the care and attention they deserve.
Before becoming an Osteopath, Matthew spent time working in environmental consultancy before pursuing his long-held passion for healthcare and human movement.
Matthew studied at the University College of Osteopathy in London (formerly the British School of Osteopathy BSO). Where he treated a wide range of patients, including time spent at an NHS HIV clinic, and his dissertation explored the role of breathing exercises in managing frozen shoulder.
Outside the clinic, Matthew loves being on the water, whether it’s surfing, kitesurfing, or sailing. Always keen to explore new spots along the New Zealand coast. When he’s not in the water he enjoys playing squash.

Hannah Williams

Hannah is an experienced Osteopath with over 12 years in practice, working across the United Kingdom, Barbados and New Zealand in both rural and metropolitan settings. She has supported a wide range of patients over her career, from babies and young families through to working professionals and older adults. She values building strong therapeutic relationships founded on genuine understanding and trust.

William Pearson
Osteopath (M.Ost)
William is a multi-skilled Osteopath with experience in treating people of all ages, from babies to older individuals, and everyone in between. William tailors his treatment approach for each patient’s specific needs by using a wide range of osteopathic techniques. These techniques include hands-on functional, cranial, and structural treatments.
His Masters of Osteopathy (UK), Sports Therapy Degree, and clinical experience gives William the ability to deliver the best results for his patients. He can use a firm structural style of treatment for sports and everyday injuries, then use gentle treatment with functional and Cranial Osteopathy to give babies and parents relief. William is particularly interested in treating babies and children. He has worked in a paediatric clinic in the UK and treated babies at his previous positions in Auckland and Tauranga. His continual training in pediatrics gives him the tools to best help younger patients during the early stages of their lives.
In his spare time, William is a keen surfer and enjoys exploring the beautiful outdoors of New Zealand with his daughter and wife. He leads an active lifestyle and has a history of playing club rugby and tennis in England.

Esther Cain
Massage Therapist
Esther is an experienced Massage Therapist with over eight years of experience. Her career started with a relaxation treatment focus and then shifted to high-performance and clinical massage treatments. She has worked with professional teams such as the Silver Ferns, Springboks, and currently the Warriors.
Esther offers a range of massage techniques including deep tissue, therapeutic, myofascial release, trigger point, and cupping. She tailors her treatments to address her patients’ individual needs. Examples include massage during pregnancy, assisting athletes in their rest, recovery, and mobility and relieving overall body tension. Esther takes a holistic approach to her treatments by considering external factors such as sleep patterns, daily stressors and training routines.
Esther brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Inline Osteo. We’re lucky to have her at the clinic and offer a different treatment style to our patients. She works closely with the other Osteopath practitioners, which allows patients to receive a more specific treatment, directed to their related injuries or needs.
Outside of massage therapy, Esther enjoys getting outdoors, running, walking, and paddleboarding. Her holistic approach to wellness extends beyond the treatment room, reflecting her commitment to a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
